Timothy P. White, president of the University of Idaho, today (May 15) was named chancellor of the University of California, Riverside, by the UC Board of Regents. The appointment, made on the recommendation of President Robert C. Dynes, will take effect on or before Sept. 1, 2008.   (May 15, 2008)

The University of California Board of Regents will consider the appointment of and compensation for a new chancellor for the UC Riverside campus as part of its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 15, at UCLA's Covel Commons.
